Through Her Eyes | In Memory of Laura de Santillana at Ippodo Gallery NY
A memorial exhibition for glass artist, Laura de Santillana ( 1955 - 2019 ). Through her eyes, we not only see color but we feel the weight of it. Laura de Santillana’s pieces allow color to float, to sink, to shift and diffuse through the air. We see the fluidity of glass and watch as it folds in on itself, is compressed, and fused with iridescent silver. Laura de Santillana’s pieces are as dynamic and ever changing as the natural light that flows through them. To look at her work, is to look through her eyes and be a witness to transformative beauty.
