Working on a potter’s wheel, Tsujimura pressed shallow rings into the walls of this tea bowl. A crackled, translucent white glaze accentuates the color of the warm red clay body. The conical form and prominent, narrow foot are typical of Ido-style tea bowls used in formal tea gatherings.
