Never before exhibited, the semi-transparent Space II was a favorite that de Santillana kept in her private collection. She fused precious gold leaf with the exterior emphasizing the shimmering quality. The transformed surface refines the drama of the cold worked glass. We are honored to exhibit this work for the first time in Laura's memory.
