Midori Tsukada Glass Exhibition
「Natural Laces」<\b>
Ippodo Gallery Ginza
Aug 28th Wed to Sep 7th Sat, 11:00~19:00 ※Closed on Mondays

Midori Tsukada creates glass artworks that are elegant and feminine. Through striking blue and transparent color, these pieces evoke the feeling of gazing into deep water. In each art piece, Tsukada chooses various combinations of techniques to create unique, individual textures. With the application of many layers of glass and metal leaves, these pieces are placed through multiple firings to produce a serendipitous, yet complex texture. In her Toyama home, Midori Tsukada completes her work using different machines and tools that allow her to work with this delicate material.
Ippodo Gallery Ginza will exhibit Midori Tsukada’s glass collection that highlights this poetic, water-like, yet lively glass texture.
