Otsuka's terracotta wares bridge the worlds of Greco-Roman and Japanese art. Jagged mosaic parts carefully added within the exterior of the tea bowl give the nod to Italian mosaics—a thin slip of white slip coats the inside and outside of the tea bowl.Exhibitions
