This dynamic wooden sculpture captures the moment that a group of waterfowl take flight. The undulating, rippling wood that connects the birds to the sculpture’s base represents water trailing from their bodies as they alight from the surface of a lake or pond. Striking shadows cast by the elegantly carved birds mirror their flight.
